BIO
I have dedicated my adult life to firearms and hold NRA Instructor certifications in Pistol and Rifle, specializing in Defensive Pistol usage and AR-15 handling, along with an NRA Range Safety Officer certification. I've also completed Instructor Level courses with Marksmanship Matters, guided by Larry Mudgett, who has trained in firearms as a martial art since he was 17. Larry, a protégé of Jeff Cooper "the father of modern weapon craft," has trained alongside the original “Combat Pistol Masters” and was recognized by Cooper as of the elite Combat Masters in the field. Over the past three years, Larry has been my mentor, I've completed more than 130 hours of training with Larry, mastering advanced pistol and rifle skills for self-defense. I have successfully passed the LAPD Rifle Qualification course at the Instructor Level and regularly co-teach with Larry in his Defensive Pistol Course at Marksmanship Matters, where my proven methods ensure strong marksmanship skills by the end of the class. Private Instruction
INTRODUCTION TO FIREARMS, GUNFIGHTING TACTICS AND ADVANCED SHOOTING SKILLS
I customize my services to address the unique needs of each client. The New Shooter Pistol Course offers 2 to 3 hours of private instruction away from the range focused on Dry Weapon Manipulation. This allows students to concentrate on firearms safety, fundamental skills, and manipulation without the distractions of a shooting range. My Defensive Pistol course is designed for those interested in carrying a concealed firearm, while the advanced course focuses on shooting on the move with speed precision. SKILL DEVELOPMENT
The second session includes personal instruction time at the range applying the skills learned in the first session. Here you will learn the key elements of Marksmanship and develop the tendencies needed to defend yourself on the street or at home. At the range we will reinforce safety as a priority and teach you what is needed to continue the ongoing learning steps needed to master your firearm.
